Area Coverage Calculation

Roll size: 15m x 2m

Formula:
Length × Height = Area Coverage

15m × 2m = 30m²

Therefore, 1 full roll covers approximately 30 square metres.

Area in Square Feet

30m² × 10.764 = approx. 323 sq.ft

For installation, allow 5%–10% extra for joining, overlap, cutting, tensioning, and fixing allowance depending on the site layout.

The PVC Coated Chain Link Fence Imported – 4mm x 15m x 2m is a heavy-duty fencing mesh designed for strong, durable, and long-lasting perimeter protection. It is made from metal wire coated with green PVC, giving it extra protection against rust, weather exposure, and outdoor wear.

This imported chain link is suitable for homes, farms, schools, warehouses, parking areas, construction sites, animal enclosures, gardens, commercial compounds, and security fencing. The green PVC coating gives the fence a clean outdoor finish that blends well with gardens, farms, and landscaped areas.

Each roll measures 15 metres long by 2 metres high, giving a total coverage of 30 square metres per roll.

Difference Between PVC Coated Chain Link and Galvanized Chain Link

TypeBest Use
PVC Coated Chain Link                  Outdoor fencing where rust protection and clean appearance are important
Galvanized Chain LinkGeneral fencing with zinc protection against rust
Plain Wire Chain LinkBudget fencing where appearance and coating protection are less important

The PVC coated chain link is preferred when the customer wants a fence that is strong, neat-looking, weather-resistant, and suitable for long outdoor use.

How to Use PVC Coated Chain Link

PVC coated chain link is installed vertically on a line of support posts. It is stretched along the fencing line and fixed using tension wire, binding wire, clips, or hooks. For a strong installation, the fence should be properly tensioned and supported with posts at regular intervals.

Installation Process

Step 1: Measure the Fence Line

Measure the total length of the area to be fenced. Since each roll is 15 metres long, divide the total length by 15m to estimate the number of rolls required.

Example:
If the fence line is 45m:
45m ÷ 15m = 3 rolls required

Step 2: Mark the Post Positions

Mark where the posts will be installed. For strong fencing, posts are commonly spaced at around 2m to 3m apart, depending on the site and strength required.

Step 3: Install the Posts

Use steel posts, concrete posts, timber posts, or angle bars. Make sure corner posts and gate posts are stronger because they carry more tension.

Step 4: Fix Bottom and Top Tension Wires

Run tension wire along the top and bottom of the fence line. This helps keep the chain link firm and prevents sagging.

Step 5: Unroll the Chain Link

Unroll the PVC coated chain link carefully along the fence line. Avoid dragging it roughly on sharp surfaces to prevent damage to the PVC coating.

Step 6: Stretch the Mesh

Pull the chain link firmly using a stretcher, tension bar, or manual tensioning method. The mesh should be tight but not overstretched.

Step 7: Fix to Posts

Attach the chain link to the posts using binding wire, fencing clips, U-nails, hooks, bolts, or tension bars. Fix it at regular intervals for a firm hold.

Step 8: Join Rolls Where Needed

Where two rolls meet, join them by weaving the end wires together or overlapping and tying securely with binding wire.

Step 9: Secure the Bottom

For animals or security use, secure the bottom tightly to prevent lifting. You can peg it down, attach it to bottom wire, or embed slightly depending on the site.

Step 10: Final Inspection

Check the full fence line to confirm the chain link is straight, tight, properly fixed, and free from sharp loose ends.
