 How to Use / Installation Guide

1. Measure your door stile and backset. Confirm the 30mm backset suits your door frame and that the door is thick enough for the lock body.
2. Mark and mortise the pocket. Cut a recess into the door edge to fit the lock body, aligning the faceplate flush with the door edge.
3. Fit the lock body. Insert the body into the mortise pocket and secure the faceplate with the supplied screws (top and bottom fixing holes).
4. Install the cylinder. Slide the euro-profile cylinder through the door and fix it in place with the cylinder retaining screw.
5. Fit the strike plate. On the receiving frame (or opposite sliding panel), mortise and fix the strike so the hook bolt curls cleanly into it.
6. Test the hook action. Turn the key — the hook bolt should swing out and lock firmly into the strike, and retract fully when unlocked. Adjust the strike alignment if the hook doesn't seat smoothly.

Maintenance tip: Apply a light spray of dry graphite or PTFE lubricant to the cylinder and hook mechanism once or twice a year for smooth, long-lasting operation. Avoid heavy oils that attract dust.
