Key Features & Benefits
- Cuts the hardest materials — concrete, granite, marble, tiles and stone with ease.
- Long service life — tall diamond segments and durable bond mean more cuts per disc.
- Fast, clean cutting — reduced chipping and smooth edges save finishing time.
- Self-sharpening rim — consistent performance from first cut to last.
- Versatile fitment — works on common angle grinders and cutting machines.
- Heat-managed core — cooling slots reduce warping and extend blade life.
- Dry or wet options — pick the right variant for dust control and finish quality.
How Do You Use This Product? (Step-by-Step)
- Select the right disc. Match the disc type to your material — segmented rim for concrete/masonry, turbo rim for fast general cutting, continuous rim for chip-free tile/marble. Confirm the arbor (centre hole) matches your machine (commonly 22.23 mm / 7/8").
- Inspect before use. Check the disc for cracks, missing segments or warping. Never use a damaged blade.
- Mount securely. Switch off and unplug the machine. Fit the disc with the rotation arrow matching the machine's spindle direction, then tighten the flange nut firmly.
- Fit guards & PPE. Keep the blade guard in place. Wear safety goggles, a dust mask/respirator, ear protection, gloves and close-fitting clothing.
- Start the cut. Let the machine reach full speed before contact. Bring the blade to the material gently — let the diamond segments do the work; do not force or push.
- Cut straight & steady. Apply light, even pressure and keep the disc perpendicular to the surface. Avoid twisting or side-loading, which cracks the blade.
- Manage heat. For dry cutting, make shallow passes and lift the blade every 10–15 seconds to cool. For wet cutting, use a steady water feed to cool the blade and suppress dust.
- Cool down between cuts. Allow the disc to spin freely in the air for a few seconds to release heat and clear debris.
- Store properly. After use, clean the disc and store it flat or hung, in a dry place away from moisture and impact.
What Is This Product Used For?
The diamond cutting disc is used to cut, score, groove and shape hard and abrasive materials that ordinary abrasive discs cannot handle efficiently. Typical applications include:
- Concrete & reinforced concrete — slabs, kerbs, screed, pavements, foundations and columns.
- Ceramic & porcelain tiles — clean straight cuts and edge trimming for flooring and wall installation.
- Granite & marble — countertops, worktops, tombstones, cladding and decorative stonework.
- Natural stone — sandstone, limestone, slate and paving stones.
- Bricks & blocks — clay bricks, concrete blocks, cabro paving blocks.
- Asphalt & road surfaces — expansion joints, repairs and utility trenching.
- Refractory & masonry — chimney work, wall openings, chasing for pipes and cables.
Choosing the Right Rim Type
- Segmented rim — deep gullets between segments; fastest, coolest cut for concrete, brick, block and stone. Best for dry cutting and rough construction work.
- Turbo rim — serrated/wavy continuous edge; fast cutting with a smoother finish for general-purpose concrete, brick and hard stone.
- Continuous rim — smooth unbroken edge; slowest but cleanest, chip-free cut. Ideal for wet cutting ceramic tiles, porcelain, marble and granite where edge quality matters.
Safety Guidelines
- Always wear eye, ear, hand and respiratory protection.
- Never exceed the disc's maximum rated RPM.
- Keep the machine guard fitted at all times.
- Do not cut with the side of the disc — cut with the edge only.
- Do not force the cut; let the blade work at its own pace.
- Ensure the disc is fully stopped before setting the machine down.
- Do not use a cracked, chipped or warped
