How to Use Crownplast Waterproofing Skimcoat

1. Surface Preparation

Ensure the wall is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose particles.

2. Mixing

Add the skimcoat powder into clean water gradually while mixing until a smooth lump-free paste is formed.

3. Application

Apply a thin layer (1–2mm) using a steel trowel or putty knife.

4. Drying

Allow the skimcoat to dry for 2–4 hours depending on weather conditions.

5. Sanding

Lightly sand the surface to obtain a perfectly smooth finish.

6. Painting

Apply a primer and finishing paint such as vinyl matt, acrylic, or weatherproof paint.
